Guess the crap is true.

As of 5 PM today, say hello to "Rockin' Country 106.7".

I predict it'll be gone in less than a year.

Umm ok.....Citadel continues to amaze me. This leaves NOLA without a new rock presence (at least for now). Wonder what moves will be made...

Good thing I have Sirius in the car and XM at home. And commercial radio wonders why people are jumping ship to satellite....

i personally like the fact they are mixing new country with classic country plus classic rock! but it wil probably get old fast with a short playlist. today i like it. tomorrow i might not :)

for new rock fans listen to squizz xm 48. you can get a free three day trial before you buy it. plus its better than the end was anyway.<P ID="signature">______________

It's still KKND as of Saturday's update on recnet (which gets it's FCC data another way and is still announced KKND Port Sulphur/New Orleans on air) ..Yep something is messed up on the FCC website for callsigns.

Music is cookie cutter country music and classic rock (good so far, probably won't be like other outlaws that play Texas music like Cross Canadian Ragweed)... Unless the end is moved somewheres else or is teasing us (Got a new transmitter and all and you are gonna fire it up this quick with almost no testing (other than the couple of times said on here before)? come on...104.5 played a variety of music for about 2 weeks straight before signing on with Urban a few years ago... you got to run it constantly to make sure it ain't gonna fail on you..and to make two or three sweepers ain't gonna be hard if the format is shifted to another frequency

I'd say WRNO has a good shot if it wants to, to become a new rock station,if this format stays with no new rock in town and Citadel will see some people leave at the end of the year when the ratings come out and will have bottom of the heap stations in 2 locations...

And smashed, found your irritating Texas voice over from the y-100 days of WYPY:)
