hahaha... what's with the Wolfman jack voice out of every break? That was one goofy DJ. I Loved it! That was back in the days when Radio sounded fun! If DJ's sounded more like that these days, I am sure I would listen to local radio more.
If you notice though the guy doesn't actually say anything. It's all style over substance but in this case you remember the style. Naturally it's 70's top 40 radio. I'm willing to bet he cracked the mic going into every song and into every stopset with jingles on the quarter hour and out of stopsets. Now with bumpers and sweepers and imaging and what-have-you the average jock talks much less. Still it was possible to make a name for yourself in a market by being more distinguishable than others even though the content wasn't much different than anyone else would be delivering.
