Oh..My...anyhow; what an embarrassment!

Oh is this funny. Years ago, 1983--1986, I did a TV show on WAGA Channel 5 here in Atlanta called the "Atlanta Rock Review". It aired Friday and Saturday nights, late--mid--4a--drew a 50 share--the deal was, it was simulcast on the radio AND TV, meaning that the videos could be heard in stereo if you listened to 94Q on the radio while watching on TV 5.

While, thankfully most of the shows are dead and gone, relegated to crumbling VHS or worse on a technical level, apparently SOMEONE associated with Marist High School, 1985, produced an edited version of the TV show we shot featuring the grads/alum from that time at a party. Their goal was to show all their friends dancing. But what ended up happening was effectively a TV aircheck of me pretending to know what I was doing.

Anyhow--tonight, because of an email from a friend I received as in "Craig, you will NOT believe this", I got to re-live the 4 hour show we did from the Marist High School 1985 "Drug- Free" event.

It was fun, I guess, but I have NO memory of taping this particular show (no drug jokes, please--I was pretty clean, even back then; we did hundreds of shows over the 4 year show run). Anyhow, it's on YouTube glory for all to see...and so embarrassing for me.

Have fun picking it apart. btw, I weigh at least TWICE as much today...and could care less at a rate at least 70 % less than then, too! :)

I just want to step in to say..."Jazz Flavors"...and I'm sure missing the fact that Atlanta can't keep a smooth jazz station. (uh, hint Craig?!)...

Marist HS - 1985? - Drug Free event?

That's rich!!!
Remember, once the last of the boomers got out of high school and college that's when they started on their jihad against alcohol and drugs, in the early 80s. This was at the head end of that, e.g., the 21 National Minimum Drinking Age(TM) was passed in 1984.
