ON A wEEkdAY eVeNiNG No LeSS!

Must Be A Part Of Their
"LiVe DRiVe @ FiVe"!

Believe it or not; I liked it!

Perhaps, BMPFRG could put more of those
"AM GOLD" cuts into the rotation for occasional airplay!
It would surely set it appart from any of the other stations;
& make it reminiscent of the MOR/plus days of AM1420WBEC.

Just A Thought!

Hey, wait a minute now!
Now I am hearing
Barry Manilow's MANDY @ 5:15!

I am in a time warp!<P ID="signature">______________

No...the rest of the day is still normal. When they moved the new guy to PM drive, the "Live Drive at 5" has been, not so much Jack, but "all request" without the limitations. Must be doing well, lots of phone calls and I can never get through.

From what I've heard on air in my travels...105 sounds like a ship with a broken rudder..no real direction. The music ranges from "cry baby" bands to 80's and 90's hits. Like to know who is programing that looser. And the morning jock on 105....please, I heard him for an hour or so and heard enough "yucking" to last me a lifetime. Relies on liners grabbed off the net for sure. No imagination at all. Ugh. For a Vox property, 105 should be a big worry to them. I have to agree that the "live at 5" ain't bad. There hasn't been a decent jock on 105 since Joanne Billow went over to 95.9. AND you can tell they're voice-tracked no matter how they try to hide it. Talk about small market radio. Whoever is programing 105 could learn something from the Hartford or Albany market.

Ah but remember....

Ah, but one must remember that 105.5's days are numbered in Pittsfield.
Soon (well at some point) Pamal is going to take the signal to Mt Tom in Holyoke to make it a semi-full market Springfield FM signal. No VOX, no Pittsfield. (Remember the station was sold to Pamal, however as I understand it
VOX is operating it until the new studios are built in Holyoke).

Thanks for the mention, but remember rule number one of insults...don't forget the spell check. There's only one "o" in loser.

What the hell was I thinking with THAT suit? A fat pimp is not pretty. My life has gone to hell hasn't it?

Closing Thoughts on "LiVe 105.5/WBEC F.M.

> What the hell was I thinking with THAT suit? A fat pimp is
> not pretty. My life has gone to hell hasn't it?

Hey, Mike! We all have 20/20 hindsight!
I heard some great things of your NSRT daze!
Tom Conklin came out of that era & look where he is!

Granted, I came out knowing more about myself
& how to adjust to the changes in radio today.

But, first & foremost, I learned what a student loan is.

Those who speak of the lacking in programming
never programmed a station or anything like it.
When I was @ WBEC, it seemed to me as an observer
that a consultant ran the selection on 105.5
& the talent & the PD (Don Clark) had little to no say!

People tune in to radio stations @ certain times
to hear certain music & certain announcers;
not too very much unlike television programs.

I, for one, wonder what ever became of the
Saturday Night voice that did "Party/Party"?
But that's another story all together.

Vox-Berkshire is like a "clear channel lite"
when it comes to talent pool sharing & such.
A little shallow of a pool at times,
but that's just my 2 cents worth.

In conclusion; w/105's days numbered in its current home;
I will keep listening & anxiously await the shuffle that
will occur when 105 leaves its long time home here.

Keep Up the Great Work, Mike!
