Oh no...ho , ho, ho time

Well K104.7 does it again. K-Hits their Oldies HD-2 channel has gone Santa tising the airwaves. 60 days of your favorite Christmas songs or what used to be your favorite Christmas songs. Sirius XM has Channels 4 and 70 taken over by the big fat elf. Why is it they always take Sirius XM Love (a nice soft A/C format) instead of the many rock channels that are nearly duplicates of each other. Tis the season to play songs from my collection of MP3's. I used to like Christmas music until they ran them into the ground for the sake of commerce. I've been told Christmas music makes people want to shop! End of useless rant!

Sirius XM Love is not on radios any more. If they have it at all, it's online.

I don't prefer all Christmas music except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. And I thought 107.9-WLNK did a very good job mixing in Christmas music with their regular AC format. They had classic Christmas songs as well as newer artists. Good job there. And they were all Christmas music on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with special holiday programming.

It's UP 98.7, contemporary Christian.
Don't we have enough of those? We need more stations like 930 AM and 91.1 and 93.5 FM. How clear are those two FM frequencies in Charlotte?

Incidentally, Christmas music would be perfectly legal today and tomorrow since in some parts of the world today is the holiday, and in other places tomorrow. Or for those of us who celebrated last month, anything referring to the Magi is acceptable through tomorrow.
