wjrr.com...fiasco page is gone...word on the street of an all staff meeting at noon...i hear lots of spec...nothing solid enough to share yet...

we'll know soon enough!

Now this is odd news....I do not think that this is a good move...

Pat Lynch , Taco, and Crash are the only GOOD jocks that station had......

Hell, if my memory serves me right, hasn't Taco Bob been with JRR since they came on the air on April 1st 1993??????

Let's hope they keep Crash, because not only is he a good jock , but he is a nice guy...

Yet another dumbass move in the world of Orlando radio....

You'd have to have the IQ of Savannah to think JRR is not going to make an offer to former O-Rock talent...

I bet that now that O-rock is gone, there is a plan to make WJRR more alternative......

That WOULD be a good idea.....because I am sick of hearing all Korn, Linkin Park, and Metallica all day...

I doubt that Drew would show up on JRR, because he had a BAD fallout with WTKS, and they share the same building....

That's not saying much. When I lived there, I could not listen to JRR when Taco Bob was on. That's what got me listening to WTKS in the afternoons. Maybe that was their goal all along...

So does this put Buckethead back to mornings as a simulcast from 98 Rock?

Crystal Ball says no...

Buckethead is going to have to go head to head with Bubba... I'm thinking they are going to want him to focus on that.

Well, who do you guys think will end up doing wakeups at JRR?

weird but nobody from JRR knows anything about this. asked around. you would think
people would know. why would they can the morning show that just helped sink O rock?
so does Drew have 7 screen names to torment JRR? You cant be serious about floating this
rumor. Or, if it's not, why does everybody from CC say they haven't heard anything about this?

Well then, there is a whole bunch more to this, first off, they should tell the staff.
second, they just got 5 year deals. Something smells funny. Plus CC fires people on
mondays, unless there is a scandal. So the girl with huge ta ta's they exploited on the billboard
" leaves " the show, after several on air..." dont call me a slut / bimbo / blonde airhead / breaks.
Then, this? any guesses? by the way, Launa is none of the above, she just has the curse of being
a beautiful woman in the world of dirtbag fat slob male DJ's.

Maybe their going to put their own syndicated "BOB & TOM" Show on JRR

I'll answer some questions from what I've "heard".

Yes, Pat Lynch and Taco Bob are gone. Is it because of Launa? Depends who you ask but yes, it all centers around a woman who was brought into a "boys morning show club" BY REGIONAL MANAGEMENT and caused friction. Did the company encourage it by things like those billboards? Sure seems like it doesn't it? Someone's getting a raw deal here whether you like em or not.

Taco Bob hasn't worked anywhere else. I believe he came to the original WJRR outta UCF as an intern.

For those who think this is all because O-Rock changed formats, forget it. That station was failing on a number of levels and is classic hits today because it wasn't working. If I were a director at JRR and I had just won the "battle", why would I then immediately fire the talent that got me there? To hire the losers? No. This is an internal issue and has nothing to do with the format change at 105.9. It's bad timing though!

Replacements.... Piping Buckethead in from 98Rock would be the no-brainer and then getting someone new for afternoons. And no, it won't be Drew Garabo. At least if they simulcast Buckethead he can still have JRR to fall back on if and when Bubba buries 98Rock in Tampa Bay. Trust me... that's gonna happen down the road. The other option... what about Lex and Terry? Pull the low rated evening replay off 104.1, simulcast em live on 101.1 in AM drive leaving Crash as the only LIVE and LOCAL personality on WJRR. Wow... that's pretty sad huh?

Who benefits? Monsters on 104.1. Fiasco had to be competition. Between the O-Rock flip and this JRR crap, WHTQ should be eating this up. Cox should make a move now with WHTQ or WMMO.

Very sad how Rock radio in this market has changed in 7 days!! I love WJRR but was not a big fan of The Fiasco. I liked "The Morning After" show better. But WJRR was the winner. Now one has to wonder what will happen with the station. They only have Crash left (and he is one of the best rock jocks in the country. I wonder if they will do something like put Buckethead in the morning, Launa middays, Crash afternoons, and pile someone else at night.

I have heard that Buckethead will be moved to mornings

Anybody hear know about the rumour of Bubba The Love Sponge coming to WHTQ?????

However, a really DUMBASS move to get rid of Pat & Taco......

I do not like alot of what is heard and played on WJRR, but I always liked these guys....they were great jocks ...

Is the Saturday night metal show gone also?????
