Oh Sit!

In 2002 TV Guide released their list of the "50 Worst TV Shows Ever", and "My Mother The Car" came in second. Worst ever? "The Jerry Springer Show"! The former Cincinnati mayor, who once faced charges after he admitted to paying a prostitute with a personal check, is still rockin' with the trailer park trash daily while "My Mother The Car" has long since been parked in the used car lot of shame.

Even though I haven't seen all of the show yet (so I don't have an opinion on it myself), it should be pointed out that The New York Times of all places actually gave the show a favorable review last week. I actually had heard this while watching a live stream of the KTLA Morning News last week on the morning that Oh Sit! co-host Jamie Kennedy was a guest on the show and entertainment reporter Sam Rubin mentioned the review, I had to verify if this was true, and lo and behold...

I didn't think Jamie Kennedy still had a career, after his prank show "JKX" got cancelled and his movies ("Son of the Mask" and that 8 Mile parody) tanked.

Oh Sit??? Hmm, for a second there I thought it might be a documentary on the dubbing for the English version of Inuyasha as they had to change one of the most used lines in the show where Kagome is telling Inuyasha to "SIT!" as it's multiple syllables in Japanese. "Sit Boy!" became the phrase used instead as it fit the mouth movements better. From the posts I see here in this thread, the non-existent documentary (as boring as it would be) might be a more interesting program.

Going from the CW to Cartoon Network...Is there a way to "like" this post on Facebook!
