I think CBS Radio should flip Movin' 107.5 to a Gold-Based Soft Adult Contemporary (not sleepy like WDUV from Florida) but a softer AC than KVIL 103.7 Lite FM to where they focus on a variety of soft hits from 70's/80's and brand it something like E-Z 107.5.
Maybe it's a bad idea because CBS Radio already has similar formats Classic Hits KLUV, Adult Hits KJKK, and AC KVIL, but Clear Channel owns similar formats of themselves Hot AC KDMX, Adult Alternative KDGE, Rock KEGL, Classic Rock KZPS, and CHR KHKS. So it might be either bad idea for CBS Radio to squeeze in Gen X to compete with CC KEGL, KDGE, and KDMX. Cumulus Media owns Country KPLX and CHR KLIF. Citadel also owns another Country KSCS. I was thinking if CBS Radio should flip 107.5 to country, but there's already two country in the market. Just like yall thought about CBS Radio flipping 107.5 to another CHR, but that won't work out well.
I think Gold-Based Soft AC is the best idea for CBS 107.5 even though it wouldn't work out well with the young demographic who takes up the majority of the population in DFW.
