Ohio Markets affected by the CC deal

Additionally, CLEAR CHANNEL has announced plans to sell 448 of its 1,150 radio stations, all located outside the Top 100 ARBITRON markets -- 90 markets are affected -- as well as the company's 42-station TV group. Collectively, these properties contributed less than 10% of the company’s revenues last year.

In Ohio that includes:

Chillioethe - 4
Clyde - 1
Defiance - 3
Findley - 3
Lima - 4
Lorain - 1 (may be held as Cleveland)
Mansfield - 3
Marion - 3
Napoleon - 1
Sandusky - 3
Tiffin - 2
Washington Courthouse - 2
Youngstown / Warren - 4

Total of 34 stations

If you ever wanted to get into station ownership, right now may be the perfect time.

Should make for an interesting clearing house. I wonder if the new owners will make back anywhere near the $8 billion in debt they are assuming in the sale. If they sell all the stations for $18mil they'll make it back :D Well they'll make some money off the TV group too, I didn't factor that.

You forgot about Ashland- 2

Galion- 1(with signals in Fredricktown and Loudonville)

and right now it's Marion- 3

Caledonia- 1

from all the news articles today, The deal includes selling off all radio properties that are not in a top 100 market.

The ones I included in the list were in Arbitron rated markets 101 to 300. As you point out, there are even more small signals out there.

I thought the Fox Rock Network (102.3 Galion, 107.7 Loudonville, 98.3 Fredericktown) were considered the 3 Mansfield stations.

Nevertheless, there are lots of stations available. It should be interesting to see what happens with them all.

Toledo is saved...

Dont know if thats a good or bad thing

Ashland/Mansfield is also on that list.

Those are the clusters not the exact locations. For instance, Galion's station in is the Ashland/Mansfield cluster.
