Ohio stations picked up in Mississippi

Greetings from the deep south! I picked up a couple of Ohio CHR stations, Power 105 from Athens and Kiss FM from Youngstown. I also picked up many other stations, but I don't know if they were from Ohio since the signals didn't stick around long enough for me to find out what stations they were.

Very impressive, especially Power 105. It is received well within 30 miles or so of Athens but has trouble going much farther because it's on a crowded channel AND the hilly terrain of southeast Ohio is not at all friendly to middling FM signals.

Picked up and posted that I picked up 101.1 FM Youngstowns Hot 101 in Tampa,Florida.. I was like WTF...it was coming in and out cause I was trying to get a Orlando station....but Youngstown,OH? WTF

Nothing like that here but there has been some tropo. The Lake Erie area is an interesting place to DX and listen. I spend some time in Vermilion occasionally. CIDR and CIMX are there almost all the time and I get Chatham's CKSY on 94.3 almosty every time I'm there. There's a CBC French station on 103.1 from Leamington that varies from non-existant to rock solid. And it was a bit strange to hear CHWO (I know they've changed calls) on 740 during the middle of the day, as well as Sarnia's CHOK on 1070.
