OK...Is CC stunting with WUBL, "The Bull?"

Again.....I ask.....will ClearChannel surrender almost all female listenership with this switch?

Having worked for a CC "Bull" format station, if they do it in the manner we did it at that station, it will be a female leaning country. Personally, if they do what we did, and Eagle does what some have been discussing here, I'd be happy. I enjoyed the format when I worked CC, and wouldn't mind a station as described here with Southern Rock, either. Music radio bites everywhere these days, so I would be glad to have something I enjoy.

That said, being a long time radio guy, I don't expect my taste to match "the people" at large.

Not necessarily. In a conversation I once had with the PD of the Bull in Birmingham, he told me that Bull was designed for male audiences. At least that's the way it is with Bull in B'ham.

Not being a CC employee, I can't say, but this station sounds identical to the one I was with, and since there is a connection there (hint: NOT Birmingham) I suspect it is one of the female leaning, not male leaning, CC Bull formats. At the risk of unintended humor, (well, okay, intended but I didn't want to admit it) these guys go both ways.
