Ok Señor Eduardo >Luis JimenezShow<

Do you think the LJ show was promoted properly & given a fair amount of time, before being pulled from FRISCO CA.
I hate to think that the show was to tropical/caribeño for the bay area, que usted opina?
Why is COCO leaving to 100.7 did the big U try to low ball here??????

Where are you from. Nobody in San Francisco call the city "Frisco" and the term is offensive to most.

In any case, Luis Jiménez was on a San Jose station, not a San Francisco station. And the station changed from Hurban to CHHR and a more music focus.

I think it would be fair to say that nearly nobody in the Bay Area knows what a "zafacón" is.

People move from station to station all the time. It's really not news, unless you write for r&r and are clueless.

Is a zafacon a trash can? I heard that word when I was in P.R.

Yeah, the word comes from "safety can" which was embossed on the first pedal-opened waste baskets / trash cans that arrived in PR.

Another: silbím. From "sealed beam" and meaning "headlight."

More: "No me ahores" meaning "don't rush me" derived from "Don't hurry"

It's a different language!

Well said Señor Eduardo, about the language and of course the show was under the San Francisco Radio stations of Univision, San jose is not listed .

I know people move around just wanted to ask.

The Frisco thing people from they ba area are quick to say it is SF, I knew about it when I was going thru my trainning at Mare Island, Vallejo CA.

Gracias
ps not from frisco
