OK, "SMOOTH JAZZ STATION"-JONES RADIO NETWORK, OR BA SMOOTH JAZZ NETWORK

Ok,

Please, take your time and please get back to me when you have a free moment. Ok, I'm from Boston, Massachusetts. We used to have a Smooth Jazz Station "Jazzy 99.1" back in 1999-2003. Then they became "Easy 99.1"
When it was "Jazzy 99.1, they were an affilate of "Smooth Jazz Station" from Jones Radio Network.
These days I listen (online) to a few of their affilates WQJZ.COM, and WCINAM.COM Some of their personalities includes "Laurie Cobb AKA:Lynn Hughes"-weekdays 10am-3pm, Keith Reiker-weekdays 3pm-7pm,
Loni Taylor-weeknights 7pm-10pm, and David Washington weeknights 10pm-2am.
Personnally I love this Smooth Jazz format, the way they talk, it make you want to listen more and more, despite when you hear Eric Clapton and Santana which is a turn off when listenning to a Smooth Jazz station. Other then that, they are the best

-Broadcast Architecture Smooth Jazz Network is about ??? two years new. Their announcers features Ramsey Lewis weekdays 6a,-10am, Miranda Wilson weekdays 10am-3pm, Dave Koz weekdays 3pm-7pm just to name a few. There are many famous Smooth Jazz mucicians that host shows on this network.
Personnally I like Dave Koz, and Miranda Wilson. They were ok.
Here are a few affilates where you can listen to this network online
-Smoothjazz1077.com That's the best one that I can find to listen to that has BA Smooth Jazz Network on (almost) 24/7
Here is BA website
Smoothjazznetwork.com

Please take your time, listen to both when you have some free time. Please leave all your feedback here and tell us which one you don't like and why, and how they may improve.

Personally when I listen to Smooth Jazz, I'd rather not hear Eric Clapton, nor Santana. It's a turn off and make you not want to listen to Smooth Jazz. Not on a Smooth Jazz Station. I can deal with Michael Bolton, and Amy Grant, and Boz Saggs, but not Eric Clapton nor Santana. That's just my personal.
Other then that, I like the Smooth Jazz Station from Jones Radio Network.

How about you all?

Your thoughts please??

Laurie Cobb (Lynn Hughes) is the most famous one on Smooth Jazz Station. I enjoy listenning to her a lot.
Loni Taylor also sounds madddd cool. (For the ladies) check out David Washington, you all might like his deep voice....

ok,

your thoughts on both???

thank you

This topic has been discussed and debated in detail on this forum...I think you'll find that, although not perfect, JSJ is deemed the far superior syndicated terrestrial SJ product by the contributors here...

Jones Smooth Jazz Programming Is The Best!!

Re: OK, "SMOOTH JAZZ STATION"-JONES RADIO NETWORK, OR BA SMOOTH JAZZ NETWORK

Not all women like guys with deep voices. I'm with Lee Abrams on this one. "Pipes" as we used to call them, the deep voices on guys and sexy whisper on the women, sound as dated as leg warmers and parachute pants. Old time MOR..

Re: OK, "SMOOTH JAZZ STATION"-JONES RADIO NETWORK, OR BA SMOOTH JAZZ NETWORK

i agree jones is the best, but i hate to say it, but i predict jones will quit the smooth jazz feed soon. i can only think of 5 or 6 stations on their smooth jazz bird. there used to be about 25. and BA is on the prowl to make every last one go to their network. i give jones smooth jazz another year tops. a shame.

@Interstate 78, you sound right, but I hope they stay. They've been around for a good minute
