OK...so who is doing it RIGHT?

The group of posters below was admonished by one of its own to bring something positive to this board for once.

Not only do I agree, but I wanted to further that idea with an actual topic:

So which stations are doing well in executing Voice-tracking, Automation, or Satellite programming? Who is doing it right?

And before the naysayers start, this thread is NOT your opportunity to slam everyone who chooses to use trackers or the bird. That's not what this is about. Your disagreement with a station's choice to use those methods is entirely irrelevent to this particular discussion.

Of those stations that have chosen these methods, which are executing with excellence?

From a satellite automation standpoint, I think WZVN Lowell does a great job with their satellite automation. Like I mentioned in the previous thread, their liners and promos are tight and consistant with the overall feel of the network, their magic calls don't sound disjointed from the satellite jock (one of my biggest pet peeves), have excellent processing, etc. I also think WIBN's satellite automation sounds pretty tight (too tight sometimes, unfortunately), but since I run it, that's a biased opinion. :)

I nominate WIKL/Greencastle. Of course, messing up a K-Love station would be darn hard.

I agree with part-time board op below; the best automated satellite station is the K-Love station licensed to Greencastle, WIKL.

Agreed, it would be hard to mess up a K-Love.So tell me, does the Greencastle K-Love do what some of the other K-Loves in the nearby Dayton and Cincinnati do and promote any other K-Love frequencies?
