Okay...it's been too long...

okay...enough's enough: it's March and nothing from the doc?
 
My guess? His heavy investing in the National Informercial Network hasn't worked out and depleted his already meager bank account. Repairs to the trusty Gremlin were postponed and "The Green Latrine" stranded him out on Route 85 right across the highway from the state prison. While at the prison trying to make a phone call to AAA the Gremlin was spotted by F-16's from Luke AFB on a practice bombing run and, alas, the only thing left of Old Trusty are some 1970's era paint fumes and a tattered piece of Levi's seat cover material.

Meanwhile, back at the prison, authorities discover the Doc's true identify and that nagging warrant that El Jefe has been trying to serve for the past 13 years. The authorities let Nurse Jeff go but, not being familiar with the area, he mistakenly flagged down an empty watermelon truck and was returned to Mexico. He was last seen in Naco wandering the streets with an English-Spanish book in one hand and a home made burrito in the other.

Alas, nothing has been heard from the Doctor even after Free Pie Night at Bill Johnson's BBQ.

The nation (well, some of the metro area) mourns.
 
I'm thinkin' he was afraid the pie might have humbles in it. He always inferred there would be no payoff until KFYI fell behind KT'R in the more irrelevant of the age group ratings. We miss ya, Doc! :'(
 
Michael, it has been too long, and now, the Doc has returned!!!!!! It's about time we got our daily dose of radio prescriptions! Doc, please prescribe something to ease the pain!

So who won the Pppppreston Westmoreland memorial "First 100 Degree Day of 2011" contest on KTVK? Was Nurse Jeff eligible in spite of his temporary residence at Perryville? The Media Hut sure could use a new A/C system before the Summer sessions begin!
