OKAY..which of the Class "A"'s is the best?

I know it depends on a lot..but which Class A AM freq has:

a. the fewesst licensed stations still operating

b. the least higher power adjacent stations (i.e. 1220 next to 1230, or 1410 next to 1400)

c. best potential coverage for the allocated power

Got a few possible stations that might go dark if someone doesn't pick them up c-h-e-a-p (one for back taxes as low as 3261.00..although it doesn't include real estate it DOES include the tower..but the land is leased at 150/mo)

Class A AM are 50KW unlimited....may have DA-N (and some are DA-D as well)....but a 50KW going dark??? Cant see that happening....you can use Cavell's web site to search for Class As and find the answers to your questions..

OK, I'll bite. Where is this cheap AM for sale ?? Any on the west coast that you care to endorse??

You lose! Go back and start a new thread, but correct your posting and correct the thread name. I've corrected it in my message title. It's obvious from your posting that you mean Class C AMs, not Class As. Class Cs are the local-channel stations that, with a few exceptions, are found on 1230, 1240, 1340, 1400, 1450, and 1490. Clearly, those are the ones you were talking about.

DAME !!! I was hoping to pick up KFI or KOMO for about $ 5,000 each. Regardless --- what AM stations are selling cheap ??

Uh-oh...

Jeff, wouldn't you be better off spending the money on something less dangerous - like crack?

Jeff,

C. Best potential coverage.
Without the possibility of good coverage, you're sunk from the very beginning.

"A" or "C". What AM stations - on the west coast -- are for sale cheap ???
