Does anyone think that radio in Oklahoma (OKC)(Tulsa)(Lawton) will be interesting in 2008? Your thoughts.

We need more exciting pirates like 92.1 the uncensored rap station with callers. I think all the radio junkies on here should get break out their transmitters and have a "pirate radio day" and turn on your transmitters for a day and really have some fun all across the dial!

Oh man.. The 92.1 Rap Pirate!!! They were funny as hell. Maybe someone should deliver another transmitter to their door just like a pizza. No bull (#$&*.

Hahha!!

94.7 the Buzz is bringin something to the table tomorrow. I just hope that it's not just a bunch of hype so that they can continue with their corporate crap playlists. They have been playing the same 50 songs every damn day since they started and they wonder why their ratings are so low.

I understand they are require to play so much of some artists, but would it kill them to introduce some REAL new rock? Take some notes from the satellite radio stations! Sirius has some really kick ass formats- Hard Attack, Octane, Underground Garage,...etc.

I know terrestrial radio isn't competing with satellite, but their playlists are far more advanced, when I compare the two, satellite blows them out of the water. At least the Buzz has a few specialty shows. More of that!

What is the new station coming in on 99.7? I think citadel is going to run it, not really sure. If HD radios were cheaper and in cars standard, the secondary channels are very unique. I like when a new technology first comes out cause they always run it on auto-pilot, just play whatever, sort of like back in the day when on digital cable all the special VH1 & MTV music channels would just show videos in that genre all day. Now since digital cable is more mainstream, they started adding the usual commercials, reality shows, movies, etc. Then back away from the videos only.

Right now HD 2 subchannels are great just music, no consultants ,it seems just piling a bunch of songs (some not usually heard on regular radio), with occasional radio drops, and that is it. In a couple of years when HD more mainstream those HD2 channels will start sounding more like their HD1/analog signal.
