Old AC WSBA

I am not sure anyone but me remembers these days. The days when WSBA-AM was a Hot AC station (before the Hot AC format really started) and people like Ed Lincoln were on mid-days and Top 40 sounding jocks were on in other day parts. During summer afternoons, they ran a "pool side" show with sound effects like being beside the pool while the dj did normal things. While they issued a "Top 40" survey sheet which people like me collected, they were really Hot AC, concentrating on Frank, Tony, etc. during the mid-day while throwing in the Beatles and 4 Seasons during Morning and PM Drive.

What I am looking for is other people's memories of this station from 1964 to 1967 and maybe memories of where the DJs went. They gave me a lot of listening memories, particularly when WABC was running the "Breakfast Club" and when my 6-transistor radio would not pick up WABC but only WSBA while riding in my parent's car listening to Leslie Gore singing "Sunshine, Lollipops and Roses".
