Old Addresses...

I heard that he was electrocuted several years back, but have never been able to confirm that. Does anyone know what the story is on him?

Paul was one of the good guys, and a brilliant engineer who could build/repair anything. I know he's been gone for quite some time, but I'm not sure about the cause of his demise. He left behind a widow and twins.

WPTS was located in Pittston, in the building on the corner where you would turn for the firehouse or the Pittston Tomato Festival site. The Bottom's Up bar is next door. There was a logo painted on the side of the building(The Ferraro Building?) complete with microphone. It's still there, faded but it can be made out.

That would be the Newrose Building. I think it was a hotel at one time. If you are in the Pittston Library parking lot, the top of the building still says Hotel Newrose.

Getting back to the old addresses thread----how about the former Rebel Radio/Q102/KISS102 building (now a vacant lot) on Rt315 across from KRZ next to Perkins----I always thought that building was condemned and was totally shocked when I found out there was a radio station in there------a totally run-down building---no signs out front---set back from the road---no indication at all as to what was going on in there---who'da thought?????
Real freaky place. I was in there once for an interview. The place reminded me of a set from the old west...very early victorian inside. But the Original WTLQ was on North Main Street in the Insalaco Building across from what is now the Dollar General in Pittston.

I remember WILK had a bunch of numbers that ended in "0980" in the "New 98" days. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exchanges.
