Old AT 40 Shows

Really nice tropo opening all morning from the South and the West.

I'm listening to WPCH 96.5 which is rebroadcasting an old American Top 40 from August 1977.

They are playing the complete program including the parts where they name "Great Radio Stations" that carry American Top 40. They just mentioned WZGC Atlanta lol.

Does anyone know of any other stations in or around Atlanta that play them?

A friend from Baltimore told me that WLIF-FM, an AC station, is playing an old AT40 show every weekend. He mentioned he heard one from 1973.

WODS-FM/Oldies103.3/Boston is playing the AT40 70's shows but only a shortened 2 hour version. It airs Sat nights from 11pm to 1am and usually starts around #26. Didn't listen last night but I've heard it 3 or 4 times now since WODS started airing it a few weeks ago. Not sure if they are playing in exact order but the ones I've heard are from mid (June-August) 1973.

I posted last week's countdown on the Providence board:

The number 1 song in the land for the week ended August 11, 1973 was Maureen McGovern's The Morning After. ;D

XM has been playing these old AT40 shows for some time on their 70's and 80's stations.

KEYW 98.3 the Key in Tri-Cities, WA plays AT40 Flashback on Sundays. It plays three hours of the four hour original starting from 30 to 1. I have some old tapes from FM100/Memphis in the 80s and from about six years ago from Memphis(FM100/Q107.5) and Tri-Cities(Power 99/98.3 the Key) with old AT40 and Rick Dees.

I have many of the LP sets of AT 40 from the 1980 - 1984 era in the original AT40 box they shipped in.
They are fun to dig out and listen to from time to time.

Speaking of Memphis, 98.9 Kim FM plays old AT40 episodes on Saturday nights and Sunday mornings.
