I was going thru some jingles that a fellow collector sent me and they sounded quite familiar. The link below will take you to them!!

**BONUS POINTS go to anyone who can name what two BIG D 103 jingles matched the ones in the above mp3**

Paul,

Those are great jingles! The only thing is that I'm pretty sure those are similar to their next to newest set. Personally, I don't recognize them as old at all (likely because of my age and listening history). I have most of the "Friends" package Big D AM & FM used back in the early to mid 70's. I've always regarded them as their best set ever. I also have a couple of tracks from the mid 60's. One is the "Remember this OBG" donut and the other is the "You're a winner with . . . .". They are fun to play with. The 60's cuts were PAMS products and I'm pretty sure the "Friends" package came from TM Productions (Tom Merriman).
Anyway, thanks for the trip back. They sounded great!

Regards,

DJ Jim Wayne

I dont remember any....

I didnt have to RIGHT CLICK and save them,i left clicked and it buffered and played straight away :)

I know V106FM (WVIP-FM in Mt. Kisco New York) had that package back in the mid 80's when two of my former WMMM-AM co-workers went there. I don't remember the package name offhand, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't date back to before 1984

You'd be surprised, but I definately remember these jingles when they were used on the air!

By the way, the 88.1 Way FM and B 94.5 jingles I posted as "Big D Souund Alikes" above most closely resembles the "Million Dollar Weekend" cut in the Oldies Combo package, which is cut 8 at about 59 or 60 seconds into the mp3 of the Thompson Creative package.
