Hello,

I apologize in advance if I step on someone's toes by asking, but is there an actual demand for these? I see a significant amount of these threads posted by one or two individuals, the threads don't necessarily appear to have many, if any, responses to them, and it tends to be a chore to navigate through them, when looking through the threads in search of a topic that garners an interest to me personally.

I don't intend for this to sound like a complaint, or anything disrespectful to those who may enjoy looking at what was airing on the tube some thirty or forty years ago, but I guess my question is whether or not there is a setting that I can implement through my user account that will render these TV listing threads "ignored", or a similar effect, to me specifically? Thanks in advance!

Not sure about the answer to your technical question but I often enjoy looking at them although I don’t comment on them. Not sure what kind of response or comment I would make other than “thank you”

I enjoy the old cable listings. Its cool to see back then how many different affiliates a market had and also seeing a "major market" on a list have 30+ channels whereas a small market outside of that area have 12.

The TV schedule ones I usually just ignore unless it involves my market or a neighboring one.

by the way....like the Missing Link avatar ;)

What I do is click on new posts
if those tv schedule one clutter it up click where it says "tv schedules" (see first pic). That sends you to that section

I click "mark read" (see 2nd pic) and it asks if you want to mark that section read. Yes

Then when you click new posts those do not show up

Its cumbersome but works (unless there is a way to ignore a forum but I do not see it anywheres)

I look and read at all of them, even if I don't comment on them. I really do appreciate them very much!
