old channel 17 logo being used on antenna tv

While I was watching Bachelor Father on Antenna TV yesterday, on the right side of the screen a logo appeared. It looks like the old Channel 17 Great Entertainer, that was used years back if my memory serves me correctly. I included a photo of it, am I correct wasn't this logo used years back, I don't know the exact year. It is neat that they are using the old logo for old television shows. tv17.jpg

WPHL/17 used that logo in the late 70's and early 80's.
 
Sister station WPIX is using an updated version of their old circle 11 logo on the main channel, has been for the past 5 years. Wouldn't it be nice if their Antenna TV subchannel were to use either one of the old 11Alive logos or the original circle 11 logo.
