Old EPG (Electronic Program Guide) clips on Youtube (Radio Related)

I was searching Youtube for clips of the old Prevue Guide, which many of you may remember. But it turns out there was also something called Electronic Program Guide, which was very similar, but it strictly had TV program listings, and nothing else. But it's from the Chicago area (Lake Forest), and the cable provider was US Cable. But these EPG clips have a radio station playing on them, which is Power 102.3. Some of the songs on here are "Diamonds and Pearls" by Prince and the NPG, "Live for Loving You" by Gloria Estefan, and there's even a little bit of the American Top 40 countdown with Shadoe Stevens. These clips are all from 1992. But I'm asking, does Power 102.3 still exist? If not, what is it now?

Yeah I posted those. It was actually recorded in Zion. U.S. Cable used to have Lake Forest only channels which is why some channels have Lake Forest next to them. EPG switched to Prevue a few months later. 102.3 was CHR "Hot 102.3" WXLC (not Power 102.3) until 1994. Now its Hot AC "102-3 XLC"

Is that actually all that's on the tape, or is it actually longer than that? Because I noticed that one of them had part of the American Top 40 with Shadoe Stevens. And also, was Hot 102.3 the only CHR/Pop station at the time, or was there a competitor? And did your local access channel(s) have radio stations on them as well?

Also, about the conversion from EPG to Prevue, Prevue was actually around before then. We first got cable in 1989, and Prevue Guide was on. I think it must have been different in different areas. But I remember loving the old Prevue Guide theme music, and you might think I'm totally wierd, but I mainly watched it because of the clock with moving seconds. I was really little at the time. And my parents would often say "Okay, now, you can either change the channel, or turn it off. But you can't watch that, it's not a TV show, it's just a waste of time." And by the way, out of curiousity, why would you be taping EPG or Prevue Guide in the first place? Was it by mistake?

Well first of all I was 5 years old at the time and loved Hot 102.3 so I would record it. When Prevue launched I was ticked but still recorded it anyway and grew to love the Prevue music.

Hot 102.3 wasn't the only CHR at the time. Until September 1992, what is now WIIL was CHR as "Power 95 WJZQ" and I believe 94.7 was a form of CHR until around 94. Zion-Benton High School's Cable Access Channel 19 used to play WLTQ (now WQBW), WJZQ, WTMX and WNIZ (now WWDV)
