old FMS playlists

Hey i was curious if any of you have any old FMS (fingers metal shop) playlists I can now afford to buy music on cd But I want to find Good stuff he used to play every saturday night on 102.3 wbab if any of you have any ideas let me know thanks
p.s. i have already tried internet archive and found his old webpage but I can't seem to find a working list to an archived playlist page.

FINGERS

Hey Ozman,
If you are looking for playlists why not go straight to the horses ummmm.... MOUTH so to speak lol. You can find an e-mail link for Fingers at www.wbab.com or on his new website for his forthcoming TV show www.shortscoots.com I have always found him to be a really nice guy and I'm sure if he can he will hook you up with playlists.
I also have to add my sorrow that WBAB couldnt convince Fingers to continue Metal Shop. Now that he is gone there are NO good metal shows anywhere on the dial. Someone in Long Island radio should realize we need a metal show of our own and not some hack from the city if you get my drift !!! There is an audience out here just waiting for the return of Fingers Metal Shop or some new Long Island Metal show. The station that hears our voice in the darkness shall be rewarded with a very highly rated specialty show !!!!!!

Re: FINGERS

At least for a little while after Fingers Metal Shop disappeared we had Mark "The Animal" Mendoza from Twisted Sister doing his show on The Bone. It was a great show that went off the air when The Bone di whatever it is they did. I liked his show almost as much as Metal Shop and would love to hear him back on the air. Maybe WBAB will pick up Mendoza's show ???

Check the Low end of the FM dial. There you can find some metal shows.

WRHU 88.7 does The Aggressive Edge every weeknight from 11pm - 1pm.
If you aren't in listening range, listen online www.wrhu.org Check their program schedule.

Also check the WXBA 88.1 schedule. I know they do a few metal shows. I think they still have the Mad HAtters on at night on saturday or sunday? There is also Full Metal a couple of times during the week. www.88x.net

And there is always WUSB 90.1 Check their schedule too. www.wusb.org

I think that Radio-X is also a good possibility for some really good future programming. Perhaps a Metal show might be a good fit there. Looks like LI Blues Warehouse found a new home there. There is a link to click there for information on starting a show. Check their website. www.radiox.fm

Also, someone mentioned podcasting. That sounds like a really cool idea. If no local st5ations want to carry a local metal show, how about a local metal podcast show. Get to it!

Just a personal commentary here, but it does seem to me that the venues for spotlighting local talent in a big way seem to becoming scarce. First we lost the Vanderbilt, and now even more recently the DownTown closed too. There is also the shrinking number of local music shows on commercial radio. (Does WBAB still do HomeGrown?) Spotlighting local artists is something that Satellite radio can not do effectively. A webcast and or podcast can be effective, but the challenge is promoting the web/pod-cast.

Re: LI Metal

>Although the amount of hours have been shrunk down a lot over the years, Nassau Community's station 90.3 has a great metal show "Extreme Rock" Saturday mornings from 9am - 12:30p

Re: LI Metal

I checked. WBAB still has homegrown listed on their site.

I agree that radiox would be great for a metal show.
