Old is new... but 4 times a day?

"IT" was a big reason I loved XM. I've never heard a compilation that was so good. It seemed to have everything. I hate to admit it, but I think we got the shaft with the merger. No competition, no reason to do anything better or different. We all lost, and to think I once believed the propaganda about all the advantages we would enjoy once the merger took place. I guess I should have known better. ( Songs like a song title, right) Lol

"IT" was unique. You are right on, we all lost in the merger.

Yes, each decades channel on XM had its own program director, but a guy by the name of Kurt Gilchrist oversaw them as the Senior Programmer of the decades channels. The program director for the 60s channel approached Kurt about going through the hits of the 60s in chronological order....so Kurt thought "why not do it for all the decades channels?"....he got Lee Abrams' blessing and they got approval from the upper brass of XM...and from that "IT" was born. Obviously, Lee left a few months before the merger was approved....and Kurt left when the music channels of XM & Sirius were merged in November.

If you're not happy with the changes, please start posting up on xm fan. We could certainly use more people with their heads not stuck up in their butts.

This is a difficult site to use. I was registered, but forgot my username & password. I can't get that info by using my e-mail address. And I can't re-register because "that e-mail address is already in use" (????).

And when I e-mailed the administrator, he told me I would have to get a new e-mail address!

They don't care what we think.
