Old jocks from Seattle's past at Jerry Kay's wake

Many thanks BOR for the link. I had been looking for more news about the wake. Great to see the photo of some of the legends he worked with at a legendary station--KJR.
Jerry's talent will not soon be forgotten nor will he. 70radio

If you're interested I can give you a quick recap....about 40-50 people showed up for the get-together...former coworkers and record people; and from as far away as Texas and Southern Cal. Heavy representation from KJR and KOL "heyday" -- including Les Smith, Shannon Sweatte, Charlie Brown, Burl Barer, Ron Saul, Lee Perkins, Tom Murphy, Mike Phillips, Pat O'Day, Dick Curtis, Lan Roberts, Doc Harris (Vancouver), Chuck Bolland, Stan Foreman, Steve West, Gary Ryan, John Maynard, Jim Martin, Jackson Dell Weaver, Danny Holiday (and his wife Joyce), Jerry Dennon, and I'm sure I'm forgetting many (unintentionally).

Many stories, many memories, and a lot of admiration for our friend -- who wasn't all that gung-ho for a memorial in the first place. Most of it captured on DVD and in photos.
