Old KFMK Personalities

Since the "New Jammin" is jockless, it made me wonder where their old airstaff is...

Any clues on:

Johnny Goen
Deana Romero
Jose Brown
Dustin Drew

Just curious...

wasn't kfmk spun off to a trustee company of clear channel called aloha broadcasting. i don't know they will sale of kfmk or keep it.

Not sure where the others are, but I did nights on KFMK when it first became Jammin' as Chuckie T. I'm now doing Texas Music in DFW. ;D

Dustin does mornings for some station in the Waco market.
KFMK... what a tragedy. The Round Rock filing was done by an idealistic man, who succesfully asked the FCC to create the channel, then immediately found his filing contested by others. It sat for a decade, til Steve Hicks paid everybody off, took the license, and handed it over to Capstar/Chancellor/AMFM/Clear Channel. I don't know if the license made the transfer to the CC fold or not... I guess it did. I don't recall the original filer's name, but I was impressed with his (thwarted) intentions.

That's Johnny Goyen and he is retired. KFMK was originally in Houston, where Johnny was in the 1980s.

Deana Romero is middays with 92.9 KLRK - and z102/oldies103 vet Bo Chase is on in the afternoon

Jose Brown is, last I heard, working for a company called DMX which is....wait for it....a Steve Hicks company. He also does some voice work here and there.
