Anyone have an mp3 of the old Houston Oilers fight song?

I'm in the Cowboys TV & Radio Dept., and we're doing a TV feature on Bum Phillips.

You can get in touch with me at dbarricklow at dallascowboys.net

Thanks in advance,
Douglas

Just want to let everyone know I've received a good copy of the song!

Thanks!!!

I am glad that you found a copy of the Oilers old fight song. I have a copy of it on 45, but not the equipment to transfer it to an mp3. That song was one of the fun things about the Oilers that the Texans have yet to duplicate.

Is it called "Houston Oilers Number One".....I found a copy at a garage sale a few years ago. It's by Lee Ofman, and it was recorded by M.O.M Records in Bellaire. Was just curious if this is the official fight song. I ain't from around here......

I'm not sure if it was the official Oilers song or not, but I had that one on 45, too ... along with "Luv Ya Blue," and my favorite, "Big Bad Earl."

I'm pretty sure that the title was "Houston Oilers Number One". I bet there are some old Oilers fans out there who'd love to have that for their collection. Sure miss the "Luv Ya Blue Days" :(

If you pm me with an email address I will send the Oilers fight song to you and sign you up for spam, just kidding about the spam. :)

i've got the 45 somewhere also.
was this a Stevens and Pruett while on KILT promo???

"Houston Oilers Number One"......

Just a note. The writer...Lee Ofman, used to do an Elvis type show at a club near the Dome. Don't remember the name, but he was a pretty good entertainer.
He is now a lawyer in Franklin, Tennessee, just outside Nashville. I was covering a court case where he was the lawyer...and asked..."aren't you..."
A good guy, and I was there during the Bum, Earl and Dan show. Recently spoke to Billy "White Shoes" in the press box at a Titans game.

Ah, the good old days in Houston radio...KILT with Jim Carolla, Ron Franlin, Bob Allen and several others on TV whose names I don't remember...and Mark Burman was an intern with us on radio. Yep...that one.

S&P were never on KILT AS S&P....they WERE "H&H" on KILT AM in the 70s-early 80s then moved to 790 as S&P in the early 80s before KKBQ, later back on KLOL...
