Old Pro-FM top 40's lists...

I remember if you went to Strawberries or another Record Store in the 80's into 90's and most likely the 70's, you could get a TOP 40 flier that was on the counter. Anyone one remember these and does anyone here have one. It would be nice to see what Pro-FM was playing way back when.

Yes I recall them but not sure where you'd find one now. Just go to billboard website, the lists are all there.

Kenny,

Back in the mid 80's/early 90's. Ann & Hope carried Pro-Fm's Top-40 list
in their record aisle. Sears way back in the late 70's (78-maybe 81-82) had JB-105'S (WPJB-FM)

WOW WPJB....I Remember that. And yeah they used to do it at ANN & HOPE..
My guess is that PRO FM was playing whatever was on the charts...
(Since they are top 40) If you can't find anything try going to www.billboard.com

Thank you Delilah.

Actually in seriousness I had found a couple online & posted them over the past year or so. Back in the day when R&R was hard copy only they would print full page spreads of various playlists with station logos & all in addition to publishing the usual playlists for all reporting stations. Now that music reporting is done differently that practice is gone, but anyone who has saved old R&Rs has a lot of weekly radio survey memorabilia. I'm willing to bet the people at PRO-FM have saved every survey too.

Sorry, just thought the Delilah thing was kinda funny ;-)

Yes nothing like thinking of the PRO-FM of the past to make you appreciate the PRO-FM of the present.Or is it the other way around?

Where are you tonight? Are you at home with the one you love or are you at home wishing the one you love was there? Maybe the one you love is with someone else and you need a song that heals?

You are very poetic...do you write? I do....If you don't, you should :)

Yes I think we should appoint Impetigo as the poet lauriate of the Providence board. His talent should be encouraged & nurtured. I suggest subbing for Art Spencer on Lite's NiteLite.

Dis is Renee from Woonsocket & I want to dedicate Longer to Antoine the love of my life.

How long have you two known each other?

We met two hours ago at The Bocce Club.

WICE used to print theirs back in the late-60s / early 70's.

In my collection somewhere I have a couple of WPRO-AM lists from the early 60s, and some WSVP lists from around 1972.

Hey this is more fun than seeing where Lisa Lisa charted in 1985 on PRO-FM.
Imagine if Art's phone lines got scrambled with Hot's & he ended up airing shout-outs.
