seeing the front page of today's tacoma news tribune reminded me of a song played either on KPLZ or KUBE, raider busters. does anyone have a copy of that one, along with chuck knox (a parody of "i feel for you" by chaka khan).

Nope. "On The Field For You" (or just that "Chucka Knox" tune-with Wayne Cody rapping!) was a KPLZ item. The track's lyrics even mentioned "K-PLUS FM"...

The Raiderbusters song was done by me, at KUBE back in I believe 1984. I still have a copy of it on cassette, as well as another one we did called "Simply Undefeatable" to the tune of "Simply Irresistible" by the late Robert Palmer.
Glad to hear somebody remembered that ol' parody!
