Old WLAC bumper music

I'm curious if anyone knows what the bumper/fill music that WLAC-AM used in the late 80's was? It was primarily a mid-tempo bassline with light percussion, used between programs, especially during the blocks of snake charmers and screaming preachers on overnights. Kind of like something Paul Hardcastle or Gino Soccio would do.

You were SOOOO close! It was Pat Metheny alright, but it was from the "Travels" LP, called "Are you going with me?" That song has been stuck in my head since 1988 when I had to make a couple overnight drives from MI to GA.

Give me a break! That was *24* years ago and I am old man now ;D... I worked there at the time and recall making it a point to go and look. There were several cuts dubbed to cart from Travels, First Circle and others. Still enjoy them today....

Best regards,

LOL! Had you not went to look, I'd probably have gone another 24 years before I found out. Once I knew the artist, it didn't take long at all.
