Oldes Radio 1620 revisited

Its been about 5 months since we put the internet station on the air and, yes, we're still here. Its been tough, we figured that, but in May we did enough in advertising to cover our operating expenses. We've added shows. We're doing contests. We'll be starting news soon. We'll be moving into a real studio/office. And we're playing some of the music the others are afraid to play! Its easy to sit back and be a sidewalk supervisor but to get out there and make it work in this economy, then we must be doing something right. Tune in! www.oldiesradio1620.com

Dave, congratulations. Well done, my friend. Haven't heard from you in a few months, and have often wondered how things are going. This is good news. Thanks for sharing.

All the best...

Congratulations, Dave. Really good to know things are going well.

Only someone in your shoes can understand the time and effort that goes into making it work,
especially when you want it to be more than an expensive hobby.

I'm doing a similar thing, except with a hybid positive/classic country and light contemporary Christian music format. We're about to the break-even point after about 8 months.

Continued best wishes to you.
