Oldies 1620 Still on the Air

Is Oldies 1620 still on the air? The past month the have rearly been broadcasting. I use windows media to listen to the station, and recently tried tunein, and ready real player, with on luck. Any update on this situation.

Oldies Radio 1620 is back on the air, I was uin the hospital from 12/20 til 1/19 with complications from a disjointed thumb. We're running 'Hits Of Yesteryear Radio" until 1/26 when we'll start up our regular programming once again. While I was in the hospital, the station shut down due to a power failure. Thanks for listening! Dave S

Where is Oldies Radio 1620? Here in Lebanon, I can't find a decent music station anywhere on the dial.

Try listening to Oldies radio 1620 at www.oldiesradio1620.com. Who listens to regular radio anymore for oldies when the internet is where its at and its all FREE! See if you can catch the voice of "Bossjock 56' who reports on here!

Thanks Dave. I'm listening to it now. Now they're doing something called "Firsts." Sounds like a typical oldies format. I wonder if they play Bobby Sherman, John Denver, Johnny Tilotson, Gene Pitney, Petula Clark, Jackie DeShannon, Connie Francis, etc. Or is it just Rock oldies? I guess I'll find out.

I like a station that plays all the oldies. Most oldies stations never do. I think that's why they don't last long.

Well I listened for a while last night and today, and I am not impressed. They need to play better oldies for me to listen.

And what is your idea of 'better oldies'? I'm certainly NOT going to turn the station into a clone of True Oldies, we'll keep playing the music that bubbled under and has fallen thru the cracks.

Well, there are more oldies than just rock 'n' roll oldies. There's Dean Martin, Al Martino, Petula Clark, Connie Francis and Bobby Sherman, just to name a few.

You know, I have no music station to listen to consistently. Where do us guys that like a variety go?

Tom, guys like you who like "variety" go to the itunes store, download the "variety" you like into your ipod and listen to your personal programming all day long. Good luck!

Yes I know. Except, I have an old computer, and since I switched to Verizon for my "high speed internet," which is a joke, iTunes doesn't work. And I don't purchase anything online.
