Oldies 700 in Dothan

The religious group who bought it from Gale, is reportedly lookin to sell it.. already, according to another station owner I came across in Southern Alabama during my recent travels.

Wow the guys who bought it are already looking to sell it, should tell you something about what this frequency is worth. If the religous dudes sell it that will make a total of 5 owners in a little over 2 years!

Yeah, and the religious folks are repotedly asking some obscene amount of money too!

It's amusing that's there's talk of the supposed new owners of Oldies 700 selling it off already. Especially since there's not been a filing with the FCC for the current owner, Jack Gale, to sell it to anyone. Gale allegedly was offered twice what he paid for it. The alleged new owners, a religious group, was to operate the station under an LMA. If the station was sold, shouldn't the FCC be told?! The success of 700 AM was and always will be an uphill battle. God bless anyone who wants it.
