Oldies 98-9/Webster-Worcester weekend change

I've noticed via the http://www.oldies989.com site that the legendary Dave O'Gara apparently has lost his Saturday shift. He is still listed Mon-Fri from 9-3 but had also worked Sat's from either 9-4 or 10-4 or something like that. Looks like no live weekend voices whatsoever now on Oldies 98-9. I used to listen to him when I was a kid when he was the morning guy on the original WORC-AM many many moons ago.

I think I remember him from the old WSRO 1470 Marlborough. Besides WORC (AM) and WSRO, where else did he work?

Driving through Worcester about noon today and heard him on as usual. Maybe the station's website is messed up. (Wouldn't be the first time a radio station's site didn't match what was actually on the air).

I stand corrected. I was driving on I-290 about 12:15 this afternoon and heard Dave O. Unfortunately, 98-9's reach isn't too far and, within a few minutes, I had reached I-495 and it became staticy so I had to tune them out. But it was good to hear his voice.

Went to the 440 Satisfaction website to look him up. There's some info here:

This is a good website to research DJ's from all around the country.

I'm listening today and Dave O is on today as well (been listening since 11am). Apparently, his schedule hasn't changed but the Oldies 98-9 website just doesn't list his weekend shifts anymore.

Dave hasn't lost a step. Sounds as good as he did 30+ years ago on the original WORC-AM.
