Oldies AM heard in Southern Front Range cities

Large music libraries featured on AM 950 (Denver) and AM 1350 (Pueblo). Nice that oldies are still heard, with very large playlists. These two stations mainly feature gold-oldies with AM 1350, playing some early-mid 70's too. Both have large playlists and go deep into chart positions.

AM 1530 (Colorado Springs) plays music back into the 30's thru the 50's, with standards and light music into the 70's featured at times. Interesting mix of songs here.

Has AM 1350 KDZA bit the dust too?? Just FOX Sports coverage all day now. So much for oldies around here. That leaves AM 950 out of Denver.

AM 690 KWRP Pueblo, broadcasts typical oldies & classic hits (60's thru early 80's).

AM 950 from Denver, plays a great mix of mainly 60's, some early 70's and quite a few 50's for those oldies lovers in Colorado!! Nice specials too, just did a four-day, Artists A to Z for the new year!

Yeah it seems like the GM gaved up on the oldies and went back to sports as HOMER 1350. Check out their website to..
But he kept the same call letters KDZA though. And also there is an oldies station out of Canon City to.

Denver's AM 950 & Pueblo's AM 690, remain the top two oldies stations on the AM dial, along the southern front range. 690 tends to be a bit more restrictive in their music, but plays an overall good selection of 70's and some 60's.

AM 950 has a huge playlist of songs, ranging from the mid 50's thru the very early 70's. They tend to play more songs that charted a bit lower in position, mixed with the usuals. Their 60's selection is excellent! They also have a noontime, all-request lunchtime cafe show where most requests are actually honored. Old time jingles are also featured through each hour. The "Sky Rover" traffic jingle is great too!

103.1 out of Limon is a new classic hits / oldies station....related to AM 950 crusin' oldies.
They play 60's to 80's with a 50's and early 60's show on Saturday Nights.

Sounds interesting!

The 103.1 Limon has been SOLD and has a CP to relocate to the town of Parker, Colorado. The transmitter site will still be some 30 miles east of Parker.

I've been listening to AM & FM stations on my Android Cell Phone. I just found AM 95 from Denver. There is an APP that you can download to an Android phone called IN TUNE. You can select state, music genre (OLDIES) city, and by call letters/frequency. By far, the best stations are 95 AM from Denver, KDYL AM 1060 in Salt Lake City, and WLNG FM 92 from Long Island New York. WLNG plays hundreds of jingles and say they have never turned their back on their listeners. It sounds like the radio station you remember growing up. All oldies with the real good rare stuff you haven't heard for years (unless you have a copy of the 45 RPM record.) They have jingle package variations that have played on other stations but with their call letters. I tell you it is like a trip down memory lane. You can get their stream on the internet or on IN TUNE APP as mentioned above.

Where can one acquire the jingles used on 950 Denver? Not so much the station ID & voice, but the background intruments and sounds.

Actually my error...the 103.1 Limon now plays Christian music, the 103.1 out of Denver plays oldies like AM 950, Cruisin' oldies.

AM 690 KWRP has expanded it's playlist....now has a wonderful selection of 60's, 70's. Also hearing mid-late 50's and some 80's mixed in. They are also heard on 100.3 in Pueblo. Weak signal though in the Springs...too much interference from 100.3 Denver.

Nice to hear some added variety on the radio once again.

No, wish they did though...can't even find a website for them. Only on Wikipedia so far.

Oldies 690 KWRP Pueblo has taken over the signal at 1530 KCMN in Colorado Springs as I-25 Radio.
Great selection of oldies and classic hits combined.

The signal range is heard from Raton, NM to Monument, CO along the front range I-25 corridor.
