Oldies America website finally streaming!

Oldies America which launched late last year as an internet based oldies station out of Cincinnati finally has some of its bugs out and its audiostream is finally up and running. Not a bad sound for a jockless station which also plays jingles from other oldies and top 40 stations.

Audio quality isn't all that bad, IMHO. Higher quality and stereo would certainly be much better, but this stuff still sounds better online than it did when it was first heard primarily on cheap am radios.

I agree...but it would be nice to hear a stereo stream. I understand this webcaster helps put together Cool Bobby B's weekly show. Would love to see that show also made available to micropower oldies stations that also stream....if feasible.

Here's an update gang...It's now streaming in stereo. The audio quality is crisp, clear and not over-compressed.

Glad to hear Cool Bobby B on every night..so don't give up on this streamer yet folks!

AS for the ONE putting his two cents worth in about royalties...how 'bout putting a few dollars donation in eh? ha chi-chi-chi-chi-chi!

Not to hijack your thread, BUT, (and it may have been mentioned earlier in another stream,) BUT the best streaming oldies I have found without doubt is Rich Brother Robin's deal.
Stereo, clean, unlimited depth in the bins, great jingles from the past legends.

Although the vintage jingles almost duplicate those used at Oldies America I ain't complainin'...welcome aboard yet another rockin' steramer to the juke box bunch...you done got me hooked!
