GREAT music, GREAT people on it, and even the GUESTS are great - couple of weeks ago, Dave the Rave (yes, kiddies, that's his REAL name!) had on Billy Harner aka "The Human Perkolator" - let me tell you, these are two white boys with soul, that's ALL I can say!! Dave has also had on Big Jay Sorensen (yes, THAT Big Jay!); but really, "Top Shelf..." plays some rare stuff, and even their chat room is wild (full disclosure: I know that for a fact 'cos I'm usually in it several days per week! ;) ;) ;))

Dave the Rave's interview with Billy Harner lasted about a half hour - Dave HIMSELF is on EVERY Saturday night from 10PM to 3AM on www.topshelfoldies.com (he's a WILD CHILD!! :)) (writer's note: he does take phone calls and yours truly is usually calling him up...) ;)

Andrea, cool to see you here ... You remember me Babe (the Mets/Angels fan) you know it's a small world because when I was a young adult and Dave the Rave was a teen, he and I exchanged a few tapes of LPs we had recorded. This is so long ago, I think some of the stuff was on reel to reel!! Ask him, no tell him, I know him -- He used to live on Suydam Street. If he IS indeed the "kid" I know, tell him to respond!! (His initials are DK)

Guess I should have been a little more specific... It was only less than 2 weeks ago you were saying the Yankees and the Dodgers in the World Series, I was reminding you the Yanks were 9 or 10 games out of first and had to leap frog over the Red Sox and Rays and also have a better record than Minnesota or Chicago. You were hoping for another subway series..... Babe ;) 8)
