Anybody with any real radio sense knows that the Oldies format is alive and well!!!! When done correctly, it can yield big $$$$$$$$$$. It is not a question of IF the Triad will get a new FM Oldies station, it is a question of WHEN and WHERE on the dial. And yes, I hate automation, but the True Oldies Sat. feed is great and has been very successful. The Oldies will NEVER die.....

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, this poster was a frequent member of this board, specifically the Atlanta radio board, in general. I recall him getting a lot of heat for starting a lot of rumors regarding the local True Oldies station there. I see he recently had to reregister, because something happened to his last account (banned?). And judging by the new threads created on the Raleigh board, methinks he has relocated. :D Anyway, here's one of his many posts on the Atlanta board.
