Oldies in Ocala

Since WMFQ is no longer Oldies (not that it was leaning super old tward the end anyway), ware does Ocala turn for Oldies?
Here are my thoughts bassed on what I know of the area. As far as I know there is no local Oldies station that covers the intire markit.
WIGT-LPFM 104.7 heard mainly downtown (Very eclectic Oldies station, lots of camersials for local businesses, speratic DJ's (haven't heard the station during all dayparts)
102.7 WRGO (which has no DJ's and is in mono, and goes into the 90's too.) Very weird. sad to see no local presents for that station anymore.
WOCL 105.9 tward the Belleview end (60's-80's Oldies out of Orlando which can make it tward that area somewhat.
WVLG 640 AM owned by the Villages which day time signal can make it thru parts of Ocala.
107.3 WJGH Jacksonville ( (does that cover any part of Ocala at all?)

Is there an Oldies station in Gainsville that I doint know about?

Actually WRGO 102.7, although licensed to Cedar Key, I think gives ID as Cedar Key-Gainesville. Signal likely makes it in.

Heard WITG 104.7 2 weeks ago....wish I taped that stuff....When was the last time you heard "Ships" by Barry Manilow??!? (it did make top 10 in 1980)

cd

WITG is very very different as far as Oldies go!
From what I've heard there is a live DJ weekday afternoons and heard a promo for someone named Brandi doing a request all 80's on Saturday nigh.

Gainesville has WERF an LPFM on 95.7, doing oldies from 1956 through 1990. Covers the west side of town.

Interesting that radio-locator doesn't even list it when you put Gainsville in there (I had to put a call letter search to find it.)

I remember hearing Fun 102.7 with 50's & 60's oldies over a year ago when I was driving through Gainesville.
Unfortunately, the signal is very weak.

WRGO Fun 102.7 is a rimshot at best to the G/O market. Like the blue "fringe" line on radio-locator cuts through Gainesville, Ocala, Alachua, and High Springs! Occasionally shows up at the bottom of the ratings with a .5 -.6.

I think Sunny 105,9 provides a good signal into Ocala. I listen to it all the time when up there. Even on the radio Built-In my MP3 Player. Even on my cheap Car Radio. Now Fun 102-7 is a different story. The signal fades in and out in Crystal River and Western Citrus is closer to the Cedar Key transmitter than Ocala is.
