Oldies KLOU Returns, Now What St. Louis Stations Will Come Back?

Note: this is my 200th post

Now that 103.3 has brought back Rock and Roll Oldies (1960s and 1970s), I would like to ask if anyone has any ideas of reviving some St. Louis area radio stations of recent past (i.e. Classic 99.1FM for instance)?

In the interest of disclosure, I had earlier touched on the subject of area radio stations getting a second chance. In light of this recent development at KLOU, I was wondering if other stations would be on the verge of a comeback.

Oh, I remember that. Barely remember that.. Don't think we've had that in decades in any format...

I am curious if KZQZ is ever played in the background at any businesses. and is it most popular in places like Waterloo and Edwardsville in the car. I live in San Diego and I can't listen to AM Radio without a loud buzz in it unless I am driving.

I've never heard it at any place of business. My issue is they inject a lot of highs in the audio chain and add re-verb. All of which makes it souund very "tinny."

I want the outlaw 1460 KIRL to return, when they decided to keep it on after dark (which they can, now)..... Or OJ-13 two hour run a high energy Top-40........ Or, I can do a KX-OK tribute and call myself Johnny Quail or Jimmy Pheasant and wear appropriate ears to match.... No knock on the two guys that did..... Hire Betty White to be the next generation K-SHE senior pin-up gal! Let's have some Gateway FUN!

1460 KIRL-AM (Daytime Only?) or "OJ-13" for a week or two (Daytime Only?).... ;D

100.3 The Beat!!! It would make sense for Hot to have a competitor.

Im really not sure why Clear Channel ditched it to begin with, everything on that frequency since has been a dismal failure.

It was getting beat pretty badly by WHHL 104.1 in the raitings.

I think CC's strategy is to just throw a bunch of stuff at the wall and see what sticks.
