OLDIES ON 1310

Oldies are on 1310. Hey, at leaST IT IS SOMETHING DIFFERENT ON THE DIAL.

I have heard no ID in the last 30 minutes.

Sounds pretty good on a really bad and old stick.

I live in Va Highland so I can receive it clearly.

They do play American Pop oldies from time to time. I heard The Carpenters and Elton John the other day. But yea they are still Korean.

Too bad, that would be a great change !!! oh well for now, its partytuner.com for me...! OR, maybe coming soon The New Hot and Exciting Korean Oldies? From the Excitement AM?

;D :D

From what I understand, it was a stunt. They were flipping from Korean hot AC to Korean alternative, and they stunted with American oldies.

Actually, my company has been doing some work for 1310. The truth of what they play is, WHAT EVER THEY WANT! They have no automation system. They are dragging and dropping with Windows Media Player. And the reason you don't hear an ID, they don't KNOW THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO ONE! So you may get Hot AC, Oldies, or Korean versions of American hits.

I wonder which station is "winning" in the Korean Radio War of 2007/Atlanta, Georgia.
In one corner, we have 1310. Mr. Kim has formed a partnership with the owners of a Korean publication in Gwinnette County. The programming is, as John pointed out, originating from a computer in the newspaper offices. It does tend to run the gamut musically....but it seems to be all music. I have never heard a commercial for anything.....at least none with any American names in them. There seems to be very little talk of any type.
In the other corner we have the former programmers of 1310....now programming 1080. The 1080 facility recently increased power to 50,000 watts, but most of the signal goes north and away from the most populous Korean areas. The signal is still stronger in Gwinnette than 1310.
1080 is a smorgasbord of talk and Korean music. There are even English lessons during the morning hours! 1080 would be the WSB of Korean radio.....1310 would be the WQXI.
Which station will be the "top dog?"

Hey Tom,

Isn't that kind of like...."If a tree falls in the forest...."

This is kinda' like when Georgia plays Florida. I don't have a dog(Pardon me....I couldn't resist)in that fight but it's always a good game to watch because of all the raw emotion. Same thing with watchin' two gals fightin'.......no point to it but fun to watch!
The Korean business culture is very different from American business culture. There is much I do not understand when it comes to Korean culture and it's business practices.

Well, its time for Decatur, Clarkston, and south dekalb to know the truth.. The Excitement Am is coming. Hot oldies, and fun fun fun in the sun.. Only from the heart of Atlanta. Am 1310 is your music station.... LOL Coming in the next few weeks, giveaways include complete Shaun Cassidy album catalogs, and The Best of the Osmond Brothers...
