Oldies on 1380

Pre-sunrise this morning, I found myself hanging out on 1380. In and out of the slop, I heard brief snatches of oldies. But I never caught an ID. My guess is KCIM from Carrol, Iowa. They are 1kw night with a pattern that somewhat favors me. A quick check of R-L didn't turn up any other obvious suspects. WDLW in Lorain, OH is about the same distance from me, but only 57 watts. WTOB in Winston-Salem, NC sends most of its 5kw (IIRC) away from me, but they do have a small lobe in my direction.

Any other thoughts or ideas?

No one else responded, so I thought I would. Although this doesn't answer your question, because those are exactly the two stations that I thought of (being from Iowa and having lived in northeast Ohio for a time...). Pre-sunrise, probably about anything could happen, but my money would be on KCIM if I were a betting man.

Pretty much what I thought. Unless WDLW powered up early. It was a couple of hours before sunrise here...so probably at minimum an hour before local sunrise in northeast Ohio.
