Oldies song of the year.

But also appropriate that it's one of
the more overplayed oldies...

And with a little luck (oh sorry,
that's a 70s song! ;-) perhaps the
oldies format signature tune for 2006
will be "Hit The Road Jack."

Let's just be totally clear here that
in no way was I endorsing any further
demise of the oldies format, but rather
taking a shot at the idiot suits who
run Infinity (or CBS Radio or whatever
they call it this week) and the crimes
they've committed during 2005, not the
least of which was the hi-JACK-ing of
WCBS-FM and WJMK.
 
Financially, they are paying for their mistakes dearly.
