Oldies Stations in South Puget Sound?

Hi All -
Need some input on which Oldies stations to rely on for promoting an upcoming Beatles Tribute concert in South Puget Sound/Hoquiam. Any good, reliable LISTENED TO oldies stations in that region?

KGHO is in Hoquiam/Aberdeen and SeaTac and almost in Olympia if you listen in you car. It's a solid oldies station. They're noncommercial, but they might work with you to promote an Oldies event.

Paul Kelley is the person to reach. His Farcebook page is https://www.facebook.com/kgho3

Great station, and Paul Kelley actually responds on facebook!

Further South is KITI which is Centralia/Chelais oldies station. Might be able to encourage their audience to make the trek to your Hoquiam event.

In Grays Harbor Sunny 102.1 plays the Beatles. On the coast 107.9 The Quake plays Beatles. KGHO doesn't have very many listeners but Brian (aka Paul Kelley) is a Beatles nut.

Sunny is live and Rhys Davis is well-known.

Heard Sunny out at Hood Canal today (near Lilliwaup). Fuzzy but an OK signal, if not for KPQ trying to kill it. It's nice hearing Sunny on my trips!

I don't remember Dial Global playing any Beatles on KSWW. I do hear Brown Eyed Girl Van Morrison a lot, but not Beatles.

ABC/Citadel/Cumulus did not play any Beatles on their AC format. But D-G plays some. We had an afternoon jock (Kacey Sommers) who played some Beatles. She wasn't supposed to, but we let her...

Kacey Sommers - was she on Dial Global? I can't remember hearing about that name, must have been years ago. I do hear lots of '80s music on Dial Global, as well as some 1970s. D-G still airs lots of great soft rock hits, some rare. I've heard "Got My Mind Set on You" by George Harrison occasionally on D-G, as well as "West End Girls" Pet Shop Boys.

Kacie was KJR-AM in the 70's, then again in the 90's when they came back on FM. She was middays for several years until Heidi May was brought in.

Kacie Sommers was not on Dial-Global. She worked for us for a few years. She did afternoons on Sunny. She's a great personality. Still lives in Aberdeen.

That's a great station I always enjoy listening to when I'm in the area.

Sunny 102.1 Aberdeen with Rhys Davis. Highly listened to station. KDUX 104.7 Aberdeen with Pat Anderson. KGHO non-comm has no real listenership.

i do know of Kixi which plays beatles and there also is one thats covington which is 104.5 Kmcq. both of those stations play beatles and other songs but also promote concerts and such. its sad most of the oldies stations have either died out or if there are any they dont have a very good signal to begin with. i live in mukilteo and most of the good stuff on am is hard to get unless u have a very very very powerful am antenna and can get past the power lines and hills and such that are around otherwise its very weak and or lots of noise in the signal.
