oldies WJMK104.3

You're right Bobby--it's still there. I guess like the RealOldies 1690 stream it's just a computer streaming music at no cost so they just let it run.

When I checked a couple of days ago, CBS had a blank HD-3 stream running at 104.3. Wouldn't it be nice if they placed that stream as 104.3 HD-3? It would make sense.

IIRC, WJMK-HD3 is where the new Sox station is going.

Does that start at the beginning of the season? Also, how many Sox fans do you think have HD Radio?

The answer to the first question is "I don't think they've made an announcement of a start date yet." The answer to the second question is "Four?" ;D

Hopefully CBS will stream this station since almost nobody will be listening on FM-HD. Besides, the games and plenty of Sox talk will be on The Score, as always.

Hopefully this will eventually be on a real radio station. Jerry Reinsdorf is a shrewd businessman & when he made the recent renewal with WSCR I don't think he figured being on HD radio a permanent outlet for this.
