WMID uses Surfer Network, which is an outsourced streaming company. I assume they integrate national commercials in the station stream based on the user's IP address, in the way that iHeart does.

If they do... well, I'm hearing local South Jersey Shore commercials on WMID stream right now as I type this on my laptop at home,

I noticed in the last few days on my satellite radios stations like kya/kwpx and philly gold radio will not play but on my Iphone and puter they are fine. I know months ago my old satellite radios were rendered useless because of some change in streaming, so I had to purchase new ones. Could this be happening again, I guess satellite is not the best way to hear content, you cant beat the good old reliable Iphone.

Are you referring to an Internet Radio whereas you are streaming stations through its own internal database? Otherwise I am completely confused by your reference to "Satellite" radios.
