Ole' Uncle Lar and Tommy James.

I was listening to some of the 2007 Big 89 Rewind Thing I have on Memorex and Ole' Uncle Lar mentions how Tommy James from the Shondell's hates him big time.
Later in the broadcast Little Tommy Edwards asked Larry if Tommy James hate for Larry was justified and Larry said it was.

Anyone know why Tommy James hates Larry Lujack big time and care to share the story ?

I remember him saying that, but wondered why also. Lujack didn't always endear himself to people with his mouth.

Ol' Uncle Lar and Tommy James

Tommy James was being interviewed on WLS, & while there, he played for Lujack (off air) a rough mix of his latest song, "Crimson And Clover", which had yet to be released. Unbeknownst to James, Lujack had a WLS engineer copy the song, and upon James' departure, WLS immediately began playing it on the air, forcing James & Roulette Records to rush-release the song ahead of time.
