Funny, I heard the same show and it didn't sound tracked to me...time checks, weather and temp checks, etc....The guy (johnny ?)was up and into the music and played mostly summer songs to welcome this the 1st day of the season.So great to be on the Cape in the sunshine.....I believe the Darin sounding song was GIDGET THEME ? and hearing tracy, along with some others i never hear on most stations was a joy...I love the doo wop show on saturdays and enjoy my blast from my nashville past Bumper Morgan...Without a doubt this is the best sounding oldies station in the northeast only a few better in its market size down south. If the inmates are running the asylum then keep the cell doors open while i'm here for my 2 and a half week getaway. I was this close to signing in under my nashville moniker at my nieces home in a wonderful village called Cotuit but my boss would tell me to give it a rest (over 300 responses in the south).

The wave ? sounds good as does pixie (?) , the vinyard station (mvy ?)and i really like what cool 102 is doing. Its off to get some lobster and do some gift shopping have a great day one and all

Hasn't that takeover of WCOD by Qantum taken place yet?I would think the voicetracking of The Wave will by COD people will stop eventually.I can't imagine any staffer there not staying with WCOD under Qantum.COD actually has a pretty good staff.
